Our Ladies Auxiliary (Philoptochos) are ready to assist you with any Memorials (Koliva), Artoklasia and Prosphora needs.
Memorial lunches & catering services are also available.

Memorial Services

Such services are held as an act of love and remembrance towards the departed members of the Church (i.e. departed Orthodox Christians).
They are not, however, held on the following days:

• From Lazarus Saturday until the Sunday of Thomas
• 1 January (The Circumcision)
• 6 January (Epiphany)
• 2 February (The Presentation)
• 25 March (The Annunciation)
• 6 August (The Transfiguration)
• 15 August (The Dormition of the Theotokos)
• 8 September (The Nativity of the Theotokos)
• 14 September (The Elevation of the Precious Cross)
• 21 November (The Entry of the Theotokos)
• 25 December (The Nativity of Christ)
• 26 December (Synaxis of the Theotokos)
• 9 November (Feast of St Nectarios)
• The Ascension
• Pentecost

Artoklasia and Prosphora

Artoklasia ("The Blessing of the Loaves"): Only names of living Orthodox Christians are commemorated.

Prosphora ("The Offering"): Both the living and departed Orthodox Christians are commemorated during the Service of the Proskomedia. Please be sure to specify separately the names of the living and the departed.
